UV Printing - Quality that lasts
UV printing is a digital printing process that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to instantly cure or dry ink as it is applied to a surface. This method allows for high-quality, durable prints on a wide variety of materials, including plastic, glass, metal, and wood, and is ideal for personalized items, promotional products, and small production runs.
How it works? Ink is applied directly onto the surface of an object. As the ink is laid down, it is immediately cured by a UV light that passes over it. This instant curing means the ink dries on contact, preventing smudging and allowing for immediate handling.
Key advantages
- Versatility: It can be used on a vast range of materials, both rigid and some flexible ones, that traditional printing methods can't handle.
- Durability: Prints are resistant to scratching, fading, and weathering.
- High Quality: Produces sharp, vibrant, and detailed images.
- Speed: The instant curing process allows for fast turnaround times.
- Eco-friendly: Some UV printing processes have lower volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions compared to traditional printing methods.
