Form A Sign has 2 qualified master Builders in Signage in the team. Why is this important for A master builder in Signage, first and foremost, is a member of a state or national Master Builders Association (MBA). About Us
Form A Sign began in our Mt Waverley home lounge room in December 1994. We had a desire to make a sticker for our Scout race car rear window. We realised it was difficult to find a company to make custom stickers cost effectively. The business began with father Gareth, and son Wesley and a friend helping with the IT. Within a year or so Mum wanted us to get out of the lounge room, so we built a shed in the backyard, and have not looked back. Every 10 years we have moved to larger factories to accommodate the latest sign technology.
With new printing technology entering the industry, we re-invested in the business by purchasing Digitial Printing technology. We developed our customer base to include corporates, small businesses councils and Government. We’ve invested in the latest
signage technology including CNC routers, lasers and summa cutters allowing us to create custom signage solutions in metal, timber or plastic. We became specialists in vinyl wrapping and
certified as 3M Platinum installers. Ken
and Wes became Maser Builders in signage.
We are currently located in a 3000 square factory in Noble Park North. With the popularity of boat wraps, we took on an opportunity to extend the business into routered custom boat non-slip flooring as the Victorian distributor or U-DEK. This business diversification helped us immensely during the 2 years of COVID lockdown where there as a lull in traditional signage from our traditional
customers who were unable to operate. In 2021 we commenced our on-line shop which now operates very successfully.
Form A Sign’s reputation developed as the “Can Do Team” and “Total Sign Service.” We are able to develop complete custom marketing solutions from small stickers to fully engineered signs with building permits.
We continually strategically review the business to keep ahead of the market.
Our customers and suppliers are loyal and we have leveraged our networks and word of mouth to grow a strong customer base. We are always supporting community groups. And
there were many others valued long standing who could not make it today
During the last 31+ years we’ve all aged and put on a few kilos. Some have gained hair, some have lost some. Technology has changed, as have sign materials and what’s possible to manufacture.
