Drum winch diameters however change with every rpm as the overall diameter is constantly shifting depending on how much rode is on or off the drum. Rope diameter and drum width also play a part in drop and retrieval speed and rate at which the drum will fill or empty.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe DLC’s unique algorithm takes into account drum width, diameter, shaft size, rope diameter, \u0026amp; overall rode length to give extremely accurate readings across all drum and line sizes. Simply enter the diameter and length of rope and chain on your drum and the DLC will take care of the rest.
